Hello and welcome to MapMyMoment.com.

I am an artist based in West Lancashire working from home. Formally a Contour Fashion Designer with a BA (Hons.) degree, I am now the proud creator of MapMyMoment.com aiming to bring artistic flare and attention to detail to the fore.

I design, create, mount and frame your perfect moment, whether be that a picture of your pet or an activity, almost anything is possible, please just ask.

Simply choose a single UK location and an image either from the gallery or if you prefer, something bespoke and I will transform it into a beautiful, individual framed piece of artwork.

I try to make a visual connection between the viewer and the subject, all wrapped and layered within that very special place.

I like to create outline illustrations that combine energy and character, with a hint of humour. I endeavour to connect the subject to the map to make the finished piece totally original and personal to you.

The detailed illustration is precisely cut out from quality card. The artwork is then orientated and layered over your chosen map area to create a charming custom made composition.

Each commission is mounted and framed ready to hang. The captivating maps I use are detailed, vintage reproductions ordnance survey maps circa 1945. I use high quality inks and an Ultra Violet protective finish.
